Sample Project Option A: Domestic Relations Around the World Students will research an area of domestic relations that interests them. Then research will be conducted on the students' state’s law/policies on the designated area. The student will then choose a different state and two foreign countries to compare and contrast with their own state. In addition to researching the laws of domestic relations in two foreign countries, the student will track the history of the laws’ development and recent changes in the law.
Option B: Helping Small Hands Students will create a guide for children whose parents are in the middle of a divorce. With a specific age range in mind, students will conduct Internet research to find sample advice that is available. The guidebooks include tidbits of advice as well as helpful activities the children can do by themselves, with siblings and/or with their parents. |
